global warming … this 2 words have taken away our sleeps … bangalore was never be as hot as today … and every year the temperature is increasing gradually … people used to say that, bangalore weather is just different than any other place … it was never be extreme …no much hot, not much cold… throughout the year the weather was pleasant …

however, in recent time we observed the temperature had gone so high … bangalore population had increased many folds … real estate was in boom… no ecosystems were maintained … to build up infrastructure , bangalorean had cut its beauty … trees … beautiful gardens were disappeared … 100 years old trees next to m g road boulevard were cut due to its “namma metro” project …  recently this project is trying to eat up some of  lalbagh’s place as well… there are some demonstration, they were some protests.. but nothing moved so far …

we saw how the climate changed its behaviour … still we dont understand … perhaps we dont want to understand … it is not by protest , rally or demonstration… we have to fight it with creating awareness amongst citizens… global warming effect started .. it is still better late than never …

i am gong to my hometown.. near dooars at north bengal, next to himalayas .. i saw in a local TV channel that for next few days there would be some rain …  hope so … we are all exhausted by this summer … so how about sharing some rain here … ?

this photograph was taken by my brother with one of my old 3.2 MP nikon digital camera … i found this shot as classy … gives me a little breathing place … i am coming to get drenched !!

fusion coffee

in one of my earlier post i said that i would write about the ambiance of coffee house in my blog sometime… i have seen this coffee house on m g road so many times by now and this place remains one my my favorite place in bangalore for sure … i have not been at Koshy’s anytime but i must go to that place as well…

… when i say something about coffee house i feel a little nostalgic…i remember my days at kolkata… when i was in kolkata i went to ‘indian coffee house’ at college street several times… not on a daily basis but i would prefer to sit there and spend sometime while roaming around those book stores in college street lanes… fusion coffee is something special at ‘indian coffee house’ at college street… different kind of coffee with no sugar no milk added… indian coffee house is an integral part of bengal intellectuality…

… here, at bangalore coffee house on m g road, i must say, though i won’t get the feel of kolkata coffee house here , but i observe some kind of similarity with kolkata…same kind of people, same ambiance, same dresses, same turban, same smell and same cups…

… with the increasing rate of coffee shop outlets such as ‘barista’ or ‘cafe coffee day’ in the city , coffee house tends to loose the game … but for me i still would love the atmosphere in coffee house … no matter what modern amenities ‘barista’ or ‘cafe coffee day’ gives me…
